Running with the Outlaws 7/25

Running with the Outlaws is MLL Radio’s only program devoted to the Denver Outlaws franchise. Along with MLL News, I host, produce and engineer Running with the Outlaws every week for MLL Radio. This week, I was able to add some new production elements thanks to the collaborative use of Audacity, Adobe Audition and GarageBand.

This week, rookie faceoff specialist Brent Hiken joins the program, plus I discuss roster decisions for last Sunday’s game vs Florida, held the day after the conclusion of the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships. Take a listen below to hear a sample of what we’ve been doing this year with Running with the Outlaws.

MLL HIGHLIGHTS: Lizards 16 Cannons 15 (OT)

The  New York Lizards and the Boston Cannons renewed their long-time rivalry Saturday, July 19 in a game that did not disappoint. I was along for the ride handling the play-by-play duties for MLL Radio with Laxdirt’s Tim Thomas.

Marasco, Lizards best Cannons in OT

JoJo Marasco and the New York Lizards came away with a 16-15 overtime victory over the Boston Cannons Saturday, July 19, 2014. Enjoy the MLL Radio call of Marasco’s game winner with me on the play-by-play and Laxdirt’s Tim Thomas in the analyst chair.

MLL HIGHLIGHTS: Boston 17 Ohio 16 (OT)

The Boston Cannons and Ohio Machine battled in another high-scoring affair on June 21, 2014. After a late, fourth-quarter surge by the Machine, the Cannons would get the last laugh in overtime when Will Manny potted home a Paul Rabil feed, Manny’s fifth goal of the contest, to secure the victory.

I was in the play-by-play chair for MLL Radio, joined by Laxdirt’s Tim Thomas. Check out some of the highlights below from an exciting one in Boston:

2014 Bowdoin baseball highlights

The 2014 Bowdoin men’s baseball team recently wrapped up a 18-16-1 campaign, and I was along for the ride as the play-by-play voice for the home webcasts. Check out some of the highlights below courtesy of Bowdoin Sports Information and the Northeast Sports Network.

HIGHLIGHTS (MLax): Five-goal first spurs Bowdoin past Trinity 9-5

A first quarter five-goal run propelled the Bowdoin men’s lacrosse to a 9-5 victory over Trinity Saturday afternoon.  The Polar Bears opened up the scoring tallying the first five scores of the otherwise even contest.

Conor O’Toole led the charge on the score sheet netting two goals and dishing out two helpers. Franklin Reis added his team-leading 19th and 20th goals of the season. The senior attackman has scored in every game this season after finding the back of the net in every contest during the 2013 season.

Connor Laughlin was fantastic in cage stopping 13-of-18 Bantam shots. The junior netminder improves to 7-2 on the season.

HIGHLIGHTS (MLax): Bowdoin dominates Norwich 18-4

The Bowdoin men’s lacrosse team improved to 4-1 on the season after a dominating 18-4 victory over Norwich Tuesday evening. Franklin Reis led the way for the Polar Bears with four man-up goals. As a team, Bowdoin was 9-for-9 on the man-up as the Polar Bears cruised to victory.

HIGHLIGHTS (MLax): Bowdoin rallies from slow start to top Amherst 17-15
