HIGHLIGHTS (MLax): Five-goal first spurs Bowdoin past Trinity 9-5

A first quarter five-goal run propelled the Bowdoin men’s lacrosse to a 9-5 victory over Trinity Saturday afternoon.  The Polar Bears opened up the scoring tallying the first five scores of the otherwise even contest.

Conor O’Toole led the charge on the score sheet netting two goals and dishing out two helpers. Franklin Reis added his team-leading 19th and 20th goals of the season. The senior attackman has scored in every game this season after finding the back of the net in every contest during the 2013 season.

Connor Laughlin was fantastic in cage stopping 13-of-18 Bantam shots. The junior netminder improves to 7-2 on the season.

HIGHLIGHTS (MLax): Bowdoin takes down Williams 11-6

The Bowdoin College Polar Bears opened its 2014 men’s lacrosse season with a 11-6 victory over NESCAC rival Williams College. For Bowdoin, it the fifth consecutive victory over Williams. The Polar Bears improve to 1-0 on the year and in conference, while the Ephs start the season 0-1 overall and in the NESCAC.
